The Visioneer
A lifelong dream, a divine calling
The choir is the realization of a lifelong dream and calling of its Visioneer, Ebehi Akhabue, whose passion for training young voices spans more than two decades and two continents.
Her journey began as a young Sunday School girl with a deep love for music and worship. At the remarkable age of eight, she was already conducting the children's choir of her age group, demonstrating leadership and musical ability far beyond her years. From that moment, a lifelong passion was ignited, one that has led her to spend decades training, mentoring, and coaching children and young people musically.
Yet The Next Global Voices is more than the fulfillment of a personal dream. The Visioneer sees her work with children as a divine calling, an assignment entrusted to her by God. It is not merely a hobby, profession, or career path; it is a mission she carries with reverence, responsibility, and unwavering commitment. She believes every child possesses unique gifts, talents, and potential waiting to be discovered and developed.
